Little things make a big difference. Good things come in small packages. All of these things are true when you’re talking about home décor. A little thing, like changing a seat cover or a decorative pillow, can add some pizzazz into the same old setting. When we were at our old location at Lakeshore and Hwy. 10, we would get all kinds of walk-ins asking if we would undertake small projects. We’re back from a well-deserved vacation and revving to decorate! It was just what we needed before ramping up for a busy fall and winter season. One of the first things we did, other than checking our emails and voice mails, was to attend the 2012 Fall Toronto Gift Show. We took a tour around the show and got into the spirit of gifts and décor. What we really noticed was a theme of European Victorian flavour. We recently went to a hamburger joint near Elegant Changes (shout out to Woody’s Burger Bar and Grill), and we saw a sign that really resonated with us. Basically, it said: “We don’t serve fast food, we serve quality food. And quality food takes time to make, so be prepared to wait about 20 minutes for your order.” And they were right – their burgers were awesome and well worth the wait.
