Is this your first time ordering a custom slipcover? We get lots of slipcover virgins (tee hee!) in our store. If this is your first time, we promise to be gentle – that’s why we’ve put together this little list of what you can expect when ordering your custom slipcover from Elegant Changes.
Are you unsure how much fabric it will take to properly cover your piece of furniture? We know it can be intimidating and confusing to figure out how much fabric you’ll need for your custom slipcover. We’re happy to come by or email a quote. All we need is a little information about the piece in question and we’ll be able to give you an estimate.
So many fabrics, so little time! This can be the hardest part of the slipcover process – just deciding which fabric you’d like for your custom slipcover. We have plenty of fabrics and sample books available at our store, or you can purchase it on your own. We’re very flexible!
Now’s the time we take all the measurements to ensure you’ll get the perfect custom slipcover. Elegant Changes will come to your house to make a pattern with the fabric you’ve choosen. This process takes about 45 minutes for each piece of furniture.
This is where the magic happens. We take the fabric and patterns to our workshop and craft your slipcover.
When your slipcover is completed, you can stop by to pick it up or arrange for delivery. These slipcovers are super easy to put on by yourself, so you can be confident you’ll be able to take it on and off as often as you want.
The entire process can take up to two weeks to complete, but as we get closer to the holiday season, we start to get busy – that means this is the right time to get started!
And if you’re ready to start the slipcover process, you’ve picked the right time! Our famous Slipcover Sale is on now until October 31. Here are the facts (and just the facts, ma’am):
• It’s all-inclusive… that means that fabric and labour are included.
• There are a slew of fabrics to choose from, including the new range from Eddystone and six cotton samples.
• Your slipcover is custom fitted to your furniture.
• We come to your home to take the measurements, so you don’t have to worry about cartage fees.
• The slipcover includes piping, skirts, pillows and large zippers, so the slipcovers are easy to put on and take off.
Give us a call, send us an email or drop by the store today!
I am interested in having slip covers made for two wing back chairs and a foot stool. I am located in Port credit. I would also like to know what so of cost I am looking at.
Thank you

Hi Lezanne,
We’ll be sending you an email to follow up so we can give you all the info you need 🙂
I realize that exact pricing can only be decided based on fabric but if I were to bring in my own fabrics what is the average price for a love seat with 2 back cushions and 2 T seat cushions….
